Responsibilities Preparing and serving food, making coffee and tea; Ensuring caf is fully stocked at all times and can meet the menu at all times, notifying the manager promptly of any shortage; Clean the caf areas, inside and outside and ensure they are hygienic at all times; Check that all caf equipment is in good order and promptly report any damage; Follow the normal operating plan, ensuring correct opening and closing procedures are followed in a timely manner; Assist with preparing food for events; Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, cleanliness and professionalism and use your own initiative to respond quickly to issues or challenges that may arise when you are working; Welcome anyone who enters the caf , creating a positive and welcoming environment Qualifications & Skills Experience in food and beverage industry preferred Knowledge of catering practices preferred Ability to work well in a fast paced environment as part of a team Past customer service experience Attention to detail Reliable Transportation Physical Fitness (job may require standing for long periods of time) Job Type:
