Compliance Coordinator

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to find a Compliance Coordinator in Largo, FL.
This is a long-term, temporary-to-hire opportunity.
As a Compliance Coordinator you will be responsible for such things as:
Creation, organization, and maintenance of compliance program documentation.

o Product testing (X-Ray Fluorescent)o Creation & maintenance of Product BOMso Support Compliance Manager as tasks are assignedo Creation, organization, and maintenance of compliance program documentationo Maintaining data accuracy in various systems - product notes, BOM, training files, POs, etc.
o Follow up on vendor and test lab communications to ensure that nothing goes unaddressedo Assist with factory auditing program - help with scheduling, updating records, organizing files, etc.
o Review of online news feeds, government agency listservs, compliance newsletters, and regulatory websites to stay updated on pending rule changes, judgments that have been made, and so on.
o Must be available for some travel (educational seminars)Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school diploma required.
Familiarity with standard supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures and experience working in the compliance field preferred (FDA, Safety Regulations, Labor Laws, etc).
Preferred Skillso Detail oriented and highly organizedo Proficient in Microsoft Office applicationso Excellent follow-through to see tasks to their finisho Able to multitask and switch gears quickly as neededPay varies (DOE) $16-19/hr.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
